We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team, who is able to work on their own initiative and as part of the team.
The post holder will be responsible for leading the shift, administering medication, and supporting and guiding other care staff to meet the needs of residents. You will undertake a key working role within the service, so should have knowledge and experience of support planning, reviewing processes, and risk assessing in relation to older people.
The post holder will adopt a person-centred approach to deliver high standards of flexible and responsive care to service users within the care home. You will also provide support and assistance to enable service users to remain as independent as possible, promoting their abilities, independence, and skills.
Previous experience in a social care setting is essential. Ideally, you should hold an SVQ 3 in Social Care, or at minimum, SVQ 2 with a willingness to achieve SVQ 3 within 5 years of appointment to enable registration with the SSSC as a Practitioner in a Care Home Service for Adults.
