About Kidney Research UK
Kidney Research UK is the leading charity in the UK focused on funding research into kidney disease prevention, treatment, and management. Our vision is a future where everyone is free from kidney disease. For over 60 years, our funded research has made an impact. As kidney disease rates increase along with contributing factors like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and obesity, our work becomes more vital.
We collaborate with clinicians, scientists, and partners across sectors to prevent kidney disease and foster innovation in treatments.
Over the last decade, we have invested over £71 million into research. We lobby governments and decision-makers to improve policy and ensure those with kidney disease receive the best care. We work closely with patients to ensure their voices inform our priorities and research investments.
Your experience in volunteer engagement or related roles such as Volunteer Coordinator, Volunteer Support Officer, or similar, in the charity or third sector, is valuable for this position.
