We are seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our progressive, award-winning Mechanical & Electrical Engineering team in Manchester as part of our 2026 Graduate Programme. You will help deliver sustainable projects for our communities, planet, and society. Our team specialises in building services, energy, and sustainability, getting involved early and working collaboratively to guide design development and inform key client decisions—resulting in buildings that deliver.
As a Stantec graduate, you will collaborate with your team and wider cohort in an interdisciplinary environment, supported by office and technical colleagues and mentored by senior staff within our open and collaborative culture.
Your Role
* Work on live projects from the start across sectors such as healthcare and education.
* Undertake electrical services design and calculations using computer modelling software (e.g., Dialux, Relux, Electrical OM).
* Develop scheme design concepts with supervisors.
* Use Revit and 3D BIM modelling software in design production; coordinate design with other professional disciplines.
* Produce detailed designs and drawings.
* Contribute to, or develop, energy and sustainability strategies.
* Participate in design team and client meetings.
* Undertake site visits and surveys.
* Research and implement new technologies.
* Pursue continuous CPD and learning opportunities.
* Typical work includes designing and creating electrical circuits, wiring, and lighting.
Qualifications and Attributes
We value potential over past experience. We welcome applications from candidates with a degree and/or master’s in a relevant Electrical Engineering subject and a keen interest in our industry, who are:

Working Pattern
Graduates are asked to attend the office a minimum of 4 days per week to ensure appropriate support and development.
