Bespoke Guardians are on the lookout for an Assistant Manager for our complex care service (CQC) to help provide best-in-class care and support for children and young people who may have complex behaviours and needs. We are seeking an assistant manager to oversee the daily operational needs for our HCA team and supporting the Manager in ensuring regulatory requirements and standards are met and sustained. You will be working closely with relevant professional agencies to ensure high standards of support is delivered using a multi-agency approach.
The ideal candidate will have extensive understanding of the challenges that this role entails but also understands the rewards that comes along with it.
You are also required to have:
* Have experience in a senior carer, HCA, support worker role
* Hold a level 3 in health and social care or equivalent in children and young people services.
* Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g. Children Act 1989, Care Standards Act 2000) and regulatory frameworks such as CQC
* Strong leadership skills with a capacity to inspire and motivate others.
Responsibilities will also include but are not limited to:
* Support the manager in leading a team of HCA staff to deliver exceptional care services
* Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs and managing any documentation relating to the child’s progress, incidents and safeguarding concerns/referrals.
* Oversee compliance and ensure it meets CQC regulations.
* Provide reports to the service manager
* Coordinate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care of our young people.
* Maintain and foster a safe and supportive environment for each child.
* Manage and complete administrative tasks related to the day to day service
* Support the manager in managing staff and overseeing day-to-day operations
* Conduct regular audits in compliance with regulatory standards and identify any areas of improvement.

Salary and Benefits.
* £28,000 – per annum
