We are looking for Nursing Sister to work on nights, alongside another Nursing Sister, and a large team of nurses, nursing assistants and carers.
This will be for a minimum of 3 nights per week (33 hours weekly) covering both weekends and weekdays (max 2 weekends per month.) We have 1 further Sister on nights, and 3 on days so it is a supportive role, with shared accountability across the role.
We are a complex nursing establishment, caring for individuals with ABI, Spinal Injuries, Neurological conditions inclusive of tracheostomies, PEGS, JEJ, NG, catheters, cough assist, NIV etc.
We are looking for a bubbly, hard working and motivating individual - with a leadership presence and the ability to drive a team forward from the forefront. An individual who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty, a 'leader by example' and someone who promotes a positive workforce is necessary.
Clinical training can be given in areas such as tracheostomies, although is highly desired. RGN/RMN will be considered or an RNLD with strong clinical experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support the night care team, ensuring clinical excellence and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Oversee medication administration and care planning for residents with complex health conditions.
* Respond promptly to clinical emergencies and provide advanced nursing interventions.
* Maintain accurate documentation and handover to day teams.
* Promote dignity, respect, and wellbeing for all residents.
About You
* Registered Nurse (NMC Pin essential) with proven experience in complex nursing care.
* Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication and ability to work collaboratively.
* Commitment to safeguarding and quality improvement.
