You will be best suited to the position if you have hands-on experience within a quality assurance role where you are predominantly on the shop floor of a food manufacturing/production environment. You’ll be able to communicate across different teams, plan and complete your workload autonomously. Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, rotating days & nights. Salary: £38,942.16 per annum - pro rata Please note this is a fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave until August 2026. YOU’LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY… Completing and documenting all the routine quality and food safety checks as required Ensuring microbiological sampling and reporting is completed to schedule and sent for submission accurately Reporting and escalating any out-of-spec results or quality incidents Utilising your eye for detail to ensure compliance with BRC and retailer standards Conducting audits, investigations, and implementing changes Working with the broader business teams to support the implementation of training, best practice, and key learnings to ensure optimum performance across the shift system YOU’RE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU HAVE… Demonstratable hands-on experience conducting audits in a quality assurance position within a food manufacturing production environment The ability work on your own initiative and able to quickly prioritise and manage your own schedule effectively.
