Equans is looking for a HR Advisor to join our team to be based anywhere across the UK with additional travel when required on a 12 month FTC. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsible for the provision of HR Advisor support for people matters, supporting line managers to deliver improvements in culture, change management, compliance and cost control to drive improved engagement and financial results.
We are looking for an individual who is driven and hungry to progress, great organisational skills, and excellent customer service and stakeholder management. The induvial will have previous experience within a Facilities Management setting and experience of TUPE.
The role offers flexible home working however there is a need to be on site on a weekly basis depending on client needs.
What will you be doing?
1. Supporting line managers in all people processes to ensure best practice and employee engagement is enhanced.
2. Coach line managers to build capability and promote ownership for managing their people and embedding a leadership framework.
3. Supporting the HR Business Partner in their duties to support the delivery of the HR strategy.
4. Advice and support on grievance / disciplinary action including attendance at hearings as appropriate.
5. Managing staff relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectation.
6. Monitoring of the annual performance cycle, acting as a super-user and ensuring completion in a timely manner.
7. Support with month end reporting process ensuring that data is collated, accurate and provided on time.
8. Disseminating of communications, spreadsheet, policies & processes and updates on progress against people objectives.
9. Recruitment support, liaising with line managers and the resourcing team.
10. Ensuring absence management is monitored in detail, agreeing plans to improve with line managers and supporting delivery.
11. Driving the business performance in relation to the organisations objectives
12. Implementing new HR initiatives and working on various HR projects.
13. Developing and maintaining good relations (informal and formal) with the recognised trade union.

Who are we looking for?
25. Experience in an HRA role or an FM management role.
26. Track-record in HR generalist and change management roles.
27. Some knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practice.
28. Proven ability to work on own initiative and within a team.
29. Strong ability to communicate in person, email and letter.
30. Experience of gathering and presenting data.
31. Part qualified CIPD member would be an advantage.
