Recruitment Consultant – Housing Sector (IT & White-Collar Focus) Location: Aztec West, Bristol (hybrid after onboarding)
We’re hiring a Recruitment Consultant to join Talentia Group’s growing Public Sector division, with a focus on white-collar and IT roles within housing associations and social housing organisations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has recruited into housing, the wider public sector, or has worked agency-side placing professionals into non-frontline roles —think: IT, governance, finance, compliance, HR, property services, or transformation teams.
You’ll join a supportive and ambitious team with access to strong client relationships, internal marketing support, and the chance to shape and grow your own desk.
This is a full 360 recruitment role with the backing of an experienced leadership team and great tools. Managing and growing a dual desk (perm and contract) with a focus on white-collar and/or IT hires
Working closely with housing associations, ALMOs, and local authority housing teams
IT (infrastructure, support, digital transformation, data)
Asset management and property services
Corporate services (HR, marketing, project management)
Building long-term relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders
Developing new business alongside managing and expanding existing accounts
At least 12 months' recruitment experience, ideally within housing, IT, or the wider public sector
Understanding of white-collar roles and/or technical functions in housing or local government
Confident managing a full 360 desk, building client pipelines and delivering quality candidates
30,000 – £40,000 base salary, depending on experience
~ Progression into senior, principal, or team lead roles – with training and mentorship throughout
~ Hybrid working – 3 days in our Aztec West office and 2 from home once you’re up and running
