Job Title: PMO Manager (Portfolio) Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract - 12 months Location: Edinburgh or Alderley Park (Wilmslow) Working Style: Hybrid 50% home/office based Closing date: 29/01/26 We have a fantastic opportunity for a PMO Manager (Change Portfolio) to join our PMO function at Royal London. The PMO Function has a unique value proposition which helps to translate business strategy into execution, through successful delivery of a portfolio of change. The PMO Manager (Portfolio) will be responsibility producing high quality reporting of the Portfolio to senior leaders and play a pivotal part on enhancing this capability. They will also support Delivery PMO Managers with ensuring governance is adhered to and pragmatic solutions agreed. More about the role: Acts as a champion of the best practice, standards, processes, templates, and tools and supports on-going communication and training to the wider change delivery community. Provides independent oversight and challenge on the performance of the overall portfolio. Analyses and evaluates sub-portfolio/portfolio data to enable accurate and reflective reporting on the UK Change Portfolio. Maintains oversight of the portfolio delivery, highlighting key areas where standards are not being adhered to and being able to report on these. Review of investment cases and change requests ensuring they are clearly articulated and of sufficient quality to be presented to senior stakeholders Ensure that governance of the Change Portfolio, as set out by the change framework, is followed. Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure that business reporting requirements are effectively met. Potential people management of Portfolio PMO Lead(s) and/or Analyst(s). Maintain a close relationship and collaborate with the Delivery PMO and the Centre of Excellence driving continuous improvement, product enhancement, and capability development. More about you: Previous experience of change portfolio delivery within a PMO function is essential Strong understanding of P3M principles and techniques Experience in Reporting to Senior audience Experience in the management of portfolio, programme and project lifecycles Experience in implementing agile change frameworks, and an understanding of PMO role within a regulated environment (preferably Financial Services) Strong commercial awareness with the ability to understand and be innovative in their approach to managing budgets and risk.
