Location: Portsmouth (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)
Overview of the role:
* Lead the delivery of complex military satellite communications projects.
* Provide project initiation and planning expertise for business winning campaigns.
* Follow PMI lifecycle standards for project management.
Responsibilities:
* Project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing.
* Deliver secure communications infrastructure and services.
* Manage projects in accordance with Airbus standards, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule performance.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
* Understanding of PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge.
* Basic understanding of Agile project management.
* Experience in approving briefs, delivering projects, supporting bids in engineering environments (communications, aerospace, space, defence).
Desirable:
* Degree or equivalent in project management, business, engineering.
* Technical background supporting project management.
* STEM degree or equivalent.
* PMI/PMP certification.
Additional Information:
Target industries include Space, Aerospace, Communications, Motorsport, High Tech Manufacturing, Automotive.
This is an inside IR35 umbrella contract.
