Teaching Personnel is seeking a committed and motivated Food Technology Teacher to join a well-regarded, Good Ofsted-rated secondary school in North Liverpool. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, and there is the possibility of the role becoming permanent for the right candidate.
About the Role
The successful applicant will deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, contributing to a dynamic and forward-thinking Technology Department. Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the curriculum.
Inspiring students to develop practical skills, creativity, and a strong understanding of nutrition and food preparation.
Maintaining a safe and well-managed classroom environment.
Contributing to departmental planning, assessment, and enrichment activities.
Upholding high standards of teaching, behaviour, and safeguarding.
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for practical, hands-on learning.
Ability to start immediately.
Commitment to raising achievement and supporting learners of all abilities.
