We are looking to recruit a Cleaning Supervisor / Housekeeper to provide cleaning services as part of the of the cleaning team at one of our prestigious client sites in Central London. You will provide a range of cleaning services conforming to established process and standards of excellence. The position holder will be expected to proactively and positively take charge of Housekeeper & Supervisor services and the assigned responsibilities and tasks, ensuring the client expectations are exceeded in delivery of building cleanliness throughout the working day. Main Duties Housekeeper: Hours: 11:00 - 15:00, Monday to Friday Maintain cleanliness across all areas throughout the day Clean and maintain kitchenettes, tea points, meeting rooms and communal areas Ensuring VIP areas are consistently cleaned and maintained to an exceptionally high standard throughout daytime. Manage general, recycling, and food waste streams, transferring waste to designated collection area throughout the day Clean and restock toilets and shower facilities regularly Focus on high-touch points (door handles, lift buttons, surfaces, glazing) Ad hoc deep clean tasks as required Ensure seamless handover of all daytime issues and outstanding tasks from the day team to the evening team. Cleaning Supervisor: Hours: 16:00 - 20:00, Monday to Friday Ensure all cleaning is carried out under specific instructions, systems of work and in line with industry standard and agreed specification. Scheduling and assigning specific duties to cleaners and ensuring that they are carried out expertly Ensuring VIP areas are consistently cleaned and to an exceptionally high standard in the evening. Coaching and developing of the cleaning team. Ensure all problems or queries are dealt with in a timely manner. Inspection of cleaning equipment on a regular basis to know when they are worn-out and request for replacement. Controlling and monitoring the usage of cleaning materials so as to avoid or minimize waste and/or misuse. Other: Accountability for quality of work and tasks within own remit. Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities team. Any other duties which may be required within the cleaning scope Provide assistance where appropriate in line with the service level agreement and assigned instructions. Follow all health and safety procedures Take responsibility for personal and team safety Promote company and client values Qualifications & Experience > Have a good level of English, (reading, writing, verbal) > Previous Cleaning experience is desirable but not essential > Have a flexible approach to the role > Have the ability to work in a physically demanding role > Have a good understanding of using specialist cleaning equipment and COSHH This is a permanent position, Monday to Friday between 11:00 - 20:00.
