Job Description

Are you looking to join a vibrant team in a role that combines the precision of financial management with the excitement of event planning?

Our client, a leading and renowned conference and events venue, is looking for a Finance & Events Administrator. The core of this role requires strong attention to detail, excellent multitasking abilities and the capacity to support both the finance and events teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage finance-related processes, including supplier setup, invoicing, client deposits and payment tracking within the sales and events system
* Process and reconcile invoices, ensuring accuracy and addressing any discrepancies
* Assist with credit control and maintain financial records
* Provide administrative support to the Sales & Events team, including responding to client inquiries and entering event details
* Coordinate internal event bookings, assist in planning exhibitions and manage related logistics
* Ensure brand consistency in marketing communications and assist with digital marketing efforts
* Organise meetings, exhibitions and internal events, handling all necessary coordination and client feedback
* Maintain accurate records of receipts, expenses and client data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations

What Theyre Looking for:

* Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
* Previous experience in finance administration or event management
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and finance software systems
* Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
* Ability to collaborate effectively with other teams to ensure smooth business operations
