Summary of Responsibilities • Perform routine, scheduled, reactive, and preventative inspection and maintenance of HV/LV equipment (up to 132kV), including switchgear, ring main units, transformers, circuit breakers, busbars, CT metering, protection, and associated control systems. • Plan, execute, and oversee HV switching schedules to achieve safety from the system in compliance with company safety rules. • Manage fault location, diagnostics, repair, and response activities. • Produce remedial works quotations, compile work packages, job instructions, and RAMS. • Coordinate technicians, supervise and mentor junior staff, conduct competency assessments, and support team development. • Manage individual project resource allocation. • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and other parties to ensure project objectives and deliverables are met. • Plan and execute HV switching, isolation, and earthing up to 132kV. • Ensure safety from the system by issuing safety documentation in accordance with procedures. • Test installations and systems, analyse data, and compile reports. • Ensure projects meet safety regulations and company QMS standards.
