One the UK’s fasted growing corporate and retail banks are looking for a highly analytical individual with Treasury experience to join an integral function of the Bank. This person will have responsibility for enhancing analytics and reporting on the Bank’s liquidity risk and IRRBB. A flexible approach will be required to support and lead a wide range of projects in a growing Treasury function. The bank has London and regional offices and they offer Hybrid working
Role Description
* Analyse liquidity exposures, produce cash flow forecasting and projections to ensure the management of key liquidity metrics within limits
* Analyse IRRBB metrics and implement appropriate hedging to ensure compliance with limits
* Develop forward looking liquidity and balance sheet indicators to alert the business to future risks
* Assist with the production and development of the ICAAP, ILAAP, Recovery Plan and risk appetite reviews
* Assist with the development of stress testing and cashflow modelling
* Support the management of the Bank’s wholesale funding platforms and the engagement with the Bank of England and credit rating agencies
* Prepare management information, including updates for the ALCO and Treasury team meetings
* Support the completion of treasury related regulatory reporting returns
* Support Treasury projects as required and provide cover for other members of the Treasury team
Role Requirements
* Liquidity risk and IRRBB experience in a bank treasury department
* Degree qualified in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics or Finance or equivalent professional qualification
* Good understanding of how a bank treasury operates
* Strong data management and analytical skills, including previous use of Microsoft Office package
* An ability to produce meaningful management information
* Effective communication skills for written and verbal reporting and the ability to present in meetings
* Commitment to deliver and maintain high standards

* Effectively prioritise tasks to ensure delivery meets critical deadlines

The Debt Capital Markets team within the Treasury Division, establishes and manages a dynamic range of secured funding transactions, utilising collateral from several divisions of the Bank. The team are also responsible for maintaining the Bank’s unsecured wholesale funding programmes and utilising these programmes to strategically fund the Bank and Group via unsecured debt issuance.
The Secured Funding Reporting Project Manager will be responsible for the successful implementation of a bespoke securitisation reporting system. In addition, they will support and enhance the BAU reporting activities undertaken by the department.
