Team Leader Location: HA3, Brent Contract: Initial 3 months Hours: 36 hours per week Rate: £31 per hour (Umbrella) (£23 PAYE an hour) We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader – Day Services to join Brent Council’s Direct Services team. This role involves leading staff to deliver person-centred day care services for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour, supporting them to live with greater independence, choice and community participation. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and day-to-day management of staff delivering community-based day services. Ensure the service is safe, responsive and compliant with legislation and quality standards. Develop educational, vocational and recreational activities tailored to service users’ needs. Promote personalised, community-based support and build strong links with local organisations. Manage staff rotas, supervision and performance, ensuring effective service delivery. Work as part of the Direct Services management team and deputise for the Manager when required.Requirements NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
