Love recruitment delivery but want a role with more purpose?
If you enjoy working with candidates, solving problems, and hitting targets — but want to move away from sales and business development — then this could be your ideal next step.
We’re supporting a national social enterprise to launch a new site in Stoke, delivering a DWP-funded back-to-work programme. The official job title is Employment Advisor, but if you’ve been working in recruitment delivery, resourcing, talent acquisition, or in-house recruitment, you’ll find the role feels very familiar — with one big difference: here, your focus is 100% on people, not fees.
Why this role?
No sales / no fees – the programme is fully funded by the DWP.
All about delivery – spend your time coaching, supporting, and placing people into sustainable work.
Purpose-driven – make a real difference for those who’ve faced barriers to employment.
Team culture – join a new supportive team of 10–15 advisors, all working towards the same goal. What you’ll be doing:
Managing a caseload of around 70 participants, meeting regularly to track progress and set goals.
Helping with CVs, applications, and interview prep.
Matching participants to local vacancies and liaising with employers.
Referring people for additional support — from self-employment advice to confidence-building workshops.
Removing barriers like transport or work clothing, so people can start work successfully.About you:
Background in recruitment delivery, resourcing, talent acquisition, or in-house recruitment.
Comfortable working to targets and balancing empathy with outcomes.
Motivated by helping people achieve their career goals.
