SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time Sale Start Date: September Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a well-regarded primary school in Sale that is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This full-time position will involve providing both one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs. The Role In this role, you will: Provide targeted one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with SEN Support teachers with the planning and delivery of differentiated learning activities Deliver focused interventions to help pupils achieve individual learning targets Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment Assist with the implementation and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to meet pupils’ needs The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who has: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs Strong communication skills and the ability to form positive relationships A patient, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to learning support A clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing A Level 2 Safeguarding qualification (or willingness to complete training provided) Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
