Overview
Located within picturesque grounds, Priory Hospital Hemel Hempstead supports the NHS by offering level 2 rehabilitation services for male and female patients with severe and enduring mental health needs. The hospital also provides specialist Huntington's disease and dementia care, as well as neuropsychiatry support.
Main Duties of the Job
You will be part of a compassionate team committed to patients' well‑being. Using proven therapies, you will help patients build a healthier future. Key responsibilities include assisting qualified staff with assessment and implementation of individual care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated, and facilitating wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
* Receive and promptly respond to referrals; conduct patient assessments, prioritize patient needs and plan and deliver appropriate interventions individually or in groups; maintain accurate and timely records of each patient's rehabilitation and progress.
* Ensure efficient management and control of junior staff.
* Maintain and develop close working relationships within the multidisciplinary team, ensuring clinical practice aligns with Priory policies, procedures, statutory regulations and quality standards.
* Contribute to business growth by actively promoting Priory's therapy service in line with the local unit’s business plan.

Priory Hospital Hemel Hempstead is recruiting a Physiotherapist for a fixed‑term, part‑time 15‑hour role.
Requirements
* Resilient with strong empathy to support others through highs and lows.
* Degree‑level education and hold CSP accreditation with current HPC registration; relevant professional experience including some experience in a neuro‑rehabilitation setting.
