Currys – Inbound Telephone Sales Advisor
Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire
Site Based: Currys Loughborough Campus, Loughborough, LE11 5XH
Contract: Permanent • Type: Full-time • Salary: £25,522 per year (plus potential OTE)
Start date and hours: 40 hours per week, rotational shifts Monday–Friday 08:00–20:00, and one weekend shift every 2 weeks (09:00–17:30). Start date: Monday, 13th October 2025.
Salary note: Salary shown is £25,521.60 per annum with potential to earn additional on-target earnings (OTE) estimated at £6,500 per annum.
Role overview
At Currys we help everyone enjoy amazing technology. As an Inbound Telephone Sales Advisor, you will speak with customers who have previously visited our Currys or Mobiles websites and are looking to purchase technology and services. Through effective listening, fact finding and matching customers’ needs with our products, you will convert calls into sales while delivering a best-in-class customer experience. Training and ongoing support are provided to help you deliver a world-class sales experience.
Responsibilities
* Exploring customer needs and offering suitable products and services from the Currys or Mobiles websites
* Effectively pitching the benefits of Currys products and services to customers
* Guiding the customer through the sales journey whilst ensuring they are fully informed
* Working towards and exceeding sales targets
* Delivering a best-in-class customer experience
You will need
* To be a confident communicator with strong people skills
* To be driven with the desire to consistently exceed sales targets
* IT literate with the ability to navigate multiple systems quickly and efficiently
* A passion for tech
* Flexible and adaptable
* A passion for putting customers first and creating customers for life
* Previous sales experience would be desirable
