Ecolab is seeking aLab Technicianto join our team in Andoer UK.As a Lab Technician, you’ll perform biological and chemical analyses, support formulation development, and contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
How You’llMake an Impact:
1. Assist in development of formulations for a variety of applications
2. Responsible for all steps of routine experimentation including sample prep, equipment orientation, instrument control, data processing, and analysis
3. Conduct product performance and field testing
4. Approve, hold, and/or rejectproducts based on laboratory analysis versus specifications
5. Ensure compliance to current regulatory requirements, following GMP guidelines for data reporting, and preparation of validation protocols, raw data generation, and final reports
6. Conductreexamination of borderline results, research technical literature, and communicate opportunities for process improvements
7. Multi-task between many projects to ensure the various completion deadlines are met
8. Recommend testing parameters, complete experiments and project work as assigned
9. Provide analytical and technical support for quality related product investigations
10. Complete data reviews for out-of-specification test results issuing SPC charts of historical results
11. Optimizeand recommend lab improvements to support 5S initiatives
12. Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
17. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or relevant science discipline

Preferred Qualifications:
19. Strong background in scientific skills and lab analysis
20. Must be familiar with laboratory safety procedures/regulations
21. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
22. Strong verbal and written communication skills
