As Audit Manager, you will be joining a highly respected audit team, who prides itself on delivering high-quality outcomes, with a friendly and consultative approach. We are recruiting an individual who has a genuine interest in audit and mentoring junior members of the team.
You will be working across a variety of client groups and have the autonomy to deliver, support and manage your clients and team members, with the guidance and direction of both the Director and Partner.
Responsibilities
1. Managing your own portfolio of clients and building trusting and respectful working relationships
2. Planning, executing and finalising audit assignments
3. Assisting with the development of systems and procedures
4. Ensuring that the highest standards of quality and accuracy are met at all times
5. Be instrumental in staff appraisals and career development
6. Offering leadership and guidance to junior team members
7. Motivating and mentoring staff members to achieve their goals and results
8. Review audit files and ensure completion is in line with best auditing practice
9. Providing advice to clients where action and improvements is required, in a constructive and professional manner
10. Working closely with Directors and Partners of the audit team in a collaborative and supportive manner
Attributes
11. To have a good knowledge of the effect of taxes on a set of accounts
12. ACCA, ACA qualification
13. Strong client relationship management experience
14. Have confidence and tenacity to develop team members
15. Good time management skills and ability to deliver quality results
16. Be willing and conscientious to deliver high-quality results
