Senior Private Client Solicitor — Coventry (with travel to other local offices)
Full-Time | Permanent | Opportunity to Head Department
We are representing a well-established regional law firm seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join the team with the aim of stepping into a Head of Department role in the near future.
What the Role Involves
* Managing a varied caseload of private client work including Wills, LPAs, estate administration, trusts, and Court of Protection matters
* Providing technical guidance and support to a well-established, capable team
* Maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring a personal and professional service throughout
* Getting involved in the ongoing growth and strategic direction of the department
* Supporting compliance, financial performance, and team development
* Participating in marketing and networking activity to raise the department's profile
What They're Looking For
* A qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE in Private Client work
* Strong experience handling complex matters, including trusts
* Some previous experience in mentoring or supervising others is ideal, or a clear desire to take on that responsibility
* STEP membership is desirable (but not essential)
* A client-focused, personable approach with excellent communication skills
* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (due to office locations)
