Role Overview
We are entering the next phase of our growth and are seeking a delivery focused individual with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. You will support one of our key clients by coordinating and overseeing the production and ongoing delivery of critical technical documentation and artefacts that underpin a growing portfolio of business‑critical, client‑facing services. We welcome applicants with broad technical exposure and demonstrable strengths in coordination, communication, analysis, and delivery. A background in documentation, technical communications, PMO, business analysis, or delivery management would be highly valuable. This is a varied and responsible position requiring a proactive, flexible, and detail‑driven approach.
Responsibilities
* Manage the full documentation lifecycle, including production, review, assurance, governance, approval and publication.
* Lead and run the TDA process and all associated governance forums, ensuring timely decision making and high quality outputs.
* Maintain, refine and improve documentation frameworks, templates, standards and quality controls across the organisation.
* Work closely with technical teams to plan, schedule and deliver high quality artefacts to agreed timelines and quality expectations.
* Develop and manage the document library, repository structure, access controls and permissions, ensuring secure and efficient information management.
* Support online publication, cross‑government sharing and controlled access to documentation and artefacts.
* Expand, maintain and assure the documentation baseline tracker, including supplier‑created artefacts and dependencies.
* Identify documentation gaps, prioritise development needs, coordinate authorship and secure required approvals.
* Review, iterate and improve existing documentation, including the considered and compliant use of AI‑enabled tooling.
* Engage stakeholders across departments to gather feedback, manage expectations, align priorities and drive continuous improvement.
* Gather, analyse and report on key performance metrics to support operational insight and governance reporting.
* Explore and introduce new methods of data gathering, collaboration and documentation tooling to reduce reliance on traditional “A4 page” formats and improve efficiency.
* Maintain awareness of best practice in document management, governance and production, driving innovation and process improvement.
Qualifications
* Applicants must be eligible to work in the specified location.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Confidence working with technical teams and senior stakeholders.
* Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and a proactive, delivery‑driven mindset.
* Experience in documentation, technical communications, PMO, business analysis, or delivery coordination.
* Interest in documentation best practice, governance, and service improvement.
Benefits & Work Arrangement
* Hybrid – Home Working/London 2 days every 3 weeks on client site.
* £35k per annum based upon experience.
* Full Time.
