Office Angels is delighted to be recruiting an Office Administrator to join our client's friendly and busy office based in Pelaw, Gateshead (NE10). Role Details
1. Job Title: Office Administrator
2. Contract Type: Permanent
3. Start Date: ASAP (depending on notice period)
4. Location: Officebased, NE10, Gateshead
5. Salary: £25,.20 - £27,.20
Working Hours & Flexibility
This lovely company is happy to consider parttime or fulltime hours, depending on what suits you best:
6. Parttime: 3 or 4 days per week
7. Fulltime options:
35 hours per week with a 1hour lunch break, or
37.5 hours per week with a 30minute lunch break (extra 30 minutes paid at time and a quarter)
Standard working hours:
8. Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
9. Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm (early finish )
Saturday working: 1 Saturday morning in every 5 (8:00am - 11:00am). Paid at time and a half

Key Responsibilities
15. Providing daytoday administrative support to ensure smooth office operations
16. Processing highvolume sales orders using a bespoke system (full training provided)
17. Delivering excellent customer service via email and telephone
18. Managing schedules, tasks, and communications using Microsoft Outlook and Office
19. Working closely with management, production, and dispatch teams
20. Communicating order quantities and timelines to support production planning
21. Handling general office duties, including card transactions and payment records
About You
22. Previous experience in a similar administrative role
23. Strong organisational and communication skills
24. Confident using Microsoft Office
25. Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working in a busy office environment
Training & Progression
Full training will be provided on systems and products. You'll begin with simpler orders and gradually progress to more complex tasks as your confidence grows, with ongoing support from the team.
