The firm is seeking to appoint a Family Law Solicitor to join its well-established and busy Family Department in Sunderland. You will be part of a large, knowledgeable legal aid team, handling a varied and meaningful caseload with the support and guidance of colleagues who bring a broad range of expertise. The Role: Family Solicitor to run their own caseload of family law matters, including: Domestic abuse work Private children proceedings Divorce and financial remedy cases Initial advice in Public Law Outline (PLO) matters (desirable) There is also scope for involvement in public law children work where the candidate has relevant experience. The role involves regular client contact, preparation of court applications, representation at hearings and ongoing development of skills and knowledge within family law.
