Job Title: National Data Cabling Engineer (2-Man Teams) \nLocation: Nationwide (Festival Venues) \nContract Duration: 2nd June - 31st October \nPay Rate: £18 per hour \nHours: 10 to 14 hours per day (Flexible hours depending on project needs) \nAccommodation, Fuel & Food Expenses: Provided \nJob Overview: \nWe are seeking reliable and skilled National Data Cabling Engineers to join our team for a national festival roll-out project, running from 2nd June to 31st October. You will be working in two-man teams to install and configure various data cables, including Cat 5e, Cat 6, and Cat 6a, across multiple festival sites. This is a dynamic, hands-on role, requiring the ability to work efficiently in a festival environment, ensuring high-quality data cabling installations.
\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nInstall and terminate Cat 5e, Cat 6, and Cat 6a cables for data networks across multiple festival venues.\n\nWork in a festival environment, adapting to varied conditions and environments.\n\nEnsure all installations are completed to the highest industry standards, meeting safety regulations and technical requirements.\n\nCollaborate with team members to meet daily project goals and timelines.\n\nComplete installations, testing, and troubleshooting of data cables as needed.\n\nFollow specific instructions regarding cable runs, placement, and setup.\n\nCommunicate effectively with project managers and other team members to ensure smooth operation and timely completion.\nRequirements:\n\nCSCS or ECS Card is mandatory (for site access).\n\nProven experience in installing and terminating Cat 5e, Cat 6, and Cat 6a cables.\n\nAbility to work long hours, typically 10-14 hours per day.\n\nComfortable working in outdoor and festival environments, potentially in various weather conditions.\n\nMust be physically fit and able to handle the demands of the role, including lifting and working at heights.\n\nFull UK driving license is desirable as the role may require travel between sites.\n\nStrong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.\n\nAbility to work independently as well as part of a team.\nBenefits:\n\nCompetitive hourly rate of £18/hour.\n\nAccommodation provided for the duration of the contract.\n\nFood expenses and fuel reimbursed as part of the contract.\n\nOpportunity to work on a large-scale national project in a fast-paced, exciting environment.\n\nGain valuable experience in a national festival roll-out.\nHow to Apply: \nIf you are an experienced Data Cabling Engineer and are interested in working with a dynamic team during an exciting national project, contact: John on call or whats app - (phone number removed)
