What we're looking for
Proven experience teaching within UK SEN schools or specialist provisions
Strong understanding of a range of needs, such as ASD, MLD, SLD, PMLD, SEMH, or complex communication needs
Ability to plan and deliver differentiated, engaging lessons tailored to individual learning profiles
Confident classroom management rooted in consistency, empathy, and positive behaviour support
A collaborative approach, working closely with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Your role
Lead a class within a specialist setting, delivering personalised learning pathways
Adapt curriculum content to meet a wide range of cognitive, sensory, and communication needs
Create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
Work closely with TAs and wider multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support
Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
Contribute to EHCP targets, assessments, and progress reviews
