Due to our continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our friendly team at our Central Distribution Warehouse in Kettering. Salary - £26,250 plus bonus Type – Permanent, Full Time Working Pattern – Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm Do you have: Good communication skills? An ability required to prioritise, multi-task, and manage your time effectively? The ability to accurately follow instructions? If so then we would like to hear from you! The ideal candidate must be a strong team player with good attention to detail and a great attitude to work. The main objectives of the role are to use material handling equipment (MHE) and bespoke machinery to pick, cut and load flooring in a safe and timely manner and to always ensure that the warehouse is secure, efficient and tidy at all times. Other key areas of responsibilities include: Ensuring that our health and safety standards are maintained at all times Picking, cutting, loading and putting away stock Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods from vehicles Monitoring goods entering and leaving the warehouse Ensuring all goods in the warehouse are labelled and stored safely, neatly and correctly Processing waste streams into recyclable and non-recyclable bales Carrying out housekeeping duties in relation to the warehouse Ensuring stock and warehouse security Key Requirements: Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills Great organisation skills, with accuracy and attention to detail Must be willing to undertake training for a Fork Lift Truck certificate Ability to work efficiently and safely under tight deadlines Our generous benefits package includes: Extensive training programs for ongoing learning and development Competitive Bonus 32 days holiday including 8 bank holidays Additional days leave for long service Health care plan provided by Westfield Health Life Insurance Contributory Pension scheme Free on-site parking All inclusive and paid for team building days out A generous employee discount Applications online only.
