We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming secondary school in Folkestone. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to students’ learning and development in a supportive school environment.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
* Support students with additional learning needs, both 1:1 and in small groups
* Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons
* Help students stay focused, motivated, and confident in their learning
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
* Adapt support strategies to meet individual student needs
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience working with secondary-aged students (school-based experience preferred)
* A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for supporting young people’s education
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
