Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking a Procurement Officer to work with a local authority on a temporary basis. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week (Mon – Fri) which will be predominantly home working. Overview: This role sits within a Corporate Procurement Service supporting a category management approach across a range of service areas. The Procurement Officer will support the delivery of procurement activity across defined categories including Corporate Core, Place, Health and Care, and Children and Young People. The role focuses on the delivery of low to medium value procurement exercises, supporting the planning, coordination and completion of sourcing activity for goods, works and services.
