Marina & Boatyard Operative – South Devon I’m working with a well-established and growing marina on the River Dart, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic Marina & Boatyard Operative to join their friendly, hands-on team. If you enjoy variety, love being outdoors, and have a passion for the marine world, this is a brilliant opportunity. This is a multi-skilled role covering boatyard operations, dry stack work, pontoon duties and general marina upkeep. You’ll also spend time in the marina office supporting customers, so confidence and a warm approach are key. Experience with boats or operating plant would be a real bonus, but it’s not essential — full training is available, and the team is genuinely invested in helping you develop and grow your skills. What they’re looking for: * Strong customer service skills and a positive, can-do attitude * Flexibility to work across both marina and boatyard tasks * Willingness to learn new systems and use computer-based tools * A proactive, team-focused approach This role is outdoors and operates on a rota covering seven days a week, including some weekends and bank holidays.
