Institutional Finance Broker – Fixed Income / Rates / FX (Europe)
Location: Europe (London, Switzerland, Scandinavia)
Compensation: Commensurate with experience + bonus
Imperium Commodity Search is working with a well-established, independent institutional brokerage with a strong reputation across OTC interest rate derivatives, fixed income and foreign exchange markets.
The firm is known for its partner-led structure, entrepreneurial culture and high-quality institutional client base, servicing hedge funds, asset managers, banks and other professional market participants across Europe.
Due to continued growth and sustained trading volumes, they are expanding their brokerage teams across London, Switzerland and Scandinavia, hiring experienced Finance Brokers to join several established and developing desks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and expand a portfolio of institutional clients, delivering high-touch execution and service
2. Facilitate trade execution, order flow and pricing across relevant OTC products
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with buy-side and sell-side counterparties
4. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support desk and firm-wide growth
5. Collaborate closely with colleagues across international offices to share liquidity, pricing and market insight
6. Contribute to desk strategy, client coverage planning and revenue generation
Experience & Skills
7. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in institutional financial brokerage
8. Demonstrable track record with an existing client base and/or consistent revenue generation
9. Strong product expertise in one or more of the following:
Fixed Income
Interest Rates / Rates Derivatives
Cross-Currency / FX
Emerging Markets
Scandinavian Markets
10. Commercially astute with an entrepreneurial, self-starting mindset
11. Comfortable operating in a performance-driven, relationship-focused brokerage environment
