Hiring Deputy Manager & Registered Manager in Childcare in Birmingham

Stratton Mills Recruitment, specialized in Children Social Care roles, is seeking a Registered Manager or a ready to step up Deputy Manager to oversee and manage a children service in Birmingham, where the well-being and development of the young residents are at the heart of everything we do.
Details of the Registered Manager Role:
* Location: Birmingham
* Type of Homes: Multi-bedded
* Team Readiness: A full team is prepared for submission to Ofsted under the strong leadership of a senior Responsible Individual.
* Immediate Start: We are looking for a candidate who can start immediately or is comfortable with waiting out a notice period.

The Ideal Registered Manager will have:
* Education: A mandatory QCF Level 3 in children and young people or an equivalent recognized qualification.
* License: Full Driving License.
* Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience at a senior level in children's residential care.
Responsibilities of the Registered Manager Role:
* Operate the homes in compliance with the Regulations and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016 (RISCA) and company policies.
* Coordinate and supervise household staff, such as housekeepers, gardeners, and maintenance workers.
* Ensure the welfare and well-being of the young residents.
* Lead and manage a team of staff to provide care in accordance with the organization's vision.
* Assist in the setup and registration of the homes with CIW.
* Manage and oversee all aspects of the home, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
* Ensure the home is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
* Manage household budgets and expenses.
* Plan and coordinate events and gatherings hosted at the home.
* Handle correspondence and communication on behalf of the homeowner.
