Job Description
Shift: Monday‑Friday 08:00 am‑16:00 pm.
Salary: £26,692.28 basic + 10% Team Leader allowance.
Your job duties will include but not be limited to the following: The main job title will be Warehouse Colleague with Team Leader allowance.
* Managing and motivating the team to ensure productivity is achieved.
* Developing and training all team members so that their contributions can be maximized.
* Carrying out daily briefings to keep the team up to date with all relevant information.
* Ensuring that all areas of the warehouse comply with company Health & Safety and hygiene policies.
* Ensuring that shift performance is achieved.
* Monitoring stock levels, performing cycle counts, and conducting validations to ensure accuracy, avoiding stockouts and ensuring efficient and safe storage of goods.
* Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies, shortages or damages, updating stock information on computer systems and the warehouse WMS.
* Assembling customer orders from the order profile.
* Ensuring the correct amount of product is picked and built correctly and safely onto pallets in line with warehouse procedures.
* Maintaining high levels of Health & Safety at all times.
* Maintaining high levels of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.
Qualifications
* Attention to detail.
* Practical skills in inventory software (WMS, Microsoft Office).
* Good communication and strong organizational abilities.
* Ability to work within a fast‑paced environment.
* Able to work to targets within a fast‑paced environment.
* Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning.
* Conscientious and reliable nature.
