HGV Class 2 Driver - Duties & Responsibilities
Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our successful client based in the Canterbury area.
The right person will be responsible for driving the refuse collection lorry and collecting/emptying food bins from residential and commercial premises.
A minimum of 90 days experience within the last 6 months on HGV Class 2 driving is essential.
* Drive and operate a class 2 refuse lorry,
* Collect food waste from a different local area each day of the week
* Emptying food waste bins around Lincolnshire
* Some heavy lifting involved
* Maintain awareness of other vehicles or people on the road and operate the lorry safely
* One-person team
HGV Class 2 Driver - Person Specification
* UK HGV Class 2 driving license (minimum 6 months)
* Digital tachograph card & CPC card
* Ability to provide a professional waste management service to residential customers
* Excellent, professional work ethic
* Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment
* Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment ESSENTIAL
