CyberClan is seeking an Insurance Alliance Manager with a strong focus on Cyber Insurance to lead and expand our partner ecosystem across the United Kingdom. This role will be responsible for building, operationalizing, and scaling strategic partnerships with cyber insurance carriers, MGAs, brokers, and cyber risk solution providers while driving revenue growth and embed CyberClan’s capabilities into insurance-led programs.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Global Partnership Development, bridging technical security value to insurer-relevant outcomes. The ideal candidate will have an energetic, can-do attitude and be comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment, delivering results and supporting team members
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Alliance Development and Management
* Develop and execute a U.K. alliance strategy focused on cyber insurance, aligning with overall business objectives.
* Define joint value propositions aligned to insurer priorities (loss reduction, claims efficiency, underwriting confidence).
* Onboard and manage relationships with carriers, brokers, MGAs, and cyber risk solution providers.
* Create and manage long-term partnership roadmaps to expand distribution and product offerings.
Cyber Market Leadership
* Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in cyber insurance, including coverage trends, cyber risk mitigation, and emerging threats.
* Monitor competitive landscape, regulatory shifts, and cyber underwriting trends across the U.K. market.
* Collaborate with CyberClan service delivery teams, and external underwriting teams to enhance cyber offerings based on market needs.
* Ensure offerings are repeatable and scalable across the region and insurer needs.
Revenue Growth & Performance
* Drive top-line revenue through alliance-led sales initiatives and channel expansion.
* Track performance of initiatives and programs against established KPIs.
* Forecast insurance-channel pipeline and report on annual recuring revenue (ARR) and program adoption.
* Deliver executive-level reporting and insights on alliance effectiveness and growth opportunities.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Act as a leader within the alliance function, contributing to strategy development and execution within region.
* Partner closely with Sales, Service Delivery teams, Legal, and Marketing to execute integrated go-to-market plans.
* Lead partner enablement efforts, including onboarding, training, and joint campaigns.
Negotiation & Governance
* Support contract negotiations including commercial terms, commissions, and SLAs.
* Ensure compliance with U.K. regulatory frameworks and internal governance standards.
* Maintain structured partner governance including QBRs and executive alignment.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field
* 5–7+ years of experience in insurance partnerships, business development, or alliances
* Demonstrated expertise in Cyber Insurance (highly preferred)
* Strong understanding of the U.K. insurance ecosystem (carriers, brokers, MGAs, InsurTech)
* Proven track record of driving strategic partnerships and revenue growth
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
* Existing network within cyber insurance carriers, brokers, or cyber security vendors
* Experience working with Insurtech or cyber risk platforms
* Professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, CISSP, or CISM (cyber knowledge is a plus)
* MBA or equivalent strategic/business background
