Role Overview
We are currently looking for driven, and enthusiastic individuals to join our Multi-skilled Engineer Apprenticeship Programme based at our facility in Loughborough, Leicestershire. This is an excellent opportunity to gain training and support across multiple engineering disciplines, whilst earning a qualification to enhance your career.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with Plant Engineers to provide electrical and mechanical maintenance engineering services across the manufacturing & support areas.
* Supporting the inspecting, diagnosing, and fixing both electrical and mechanical faults, to ensure the smooth running of production lines and equipment.
* Work with Plant Engineers to provide planned and emergency maintenance support.
* Support with the planned and preventative maintenance for site utilities.
* Support breakdown issues and resolution.
* Gain hands‑on experience identifying and diagnosing issues in machinery working with advanced tools and techniques.
* Ensure all engineering activities are carried out to the necessary standard complying with Safety, cGMP & company requirements.
* Work with Module Technicians to gain experience within the value streams.
* Punctually in attendance at college and successfully complete allocated courses.
* Successfully complete BTEC / NVQ qualifications aligned with the opportunity.
Key Capabilities
* Maths & English GCSE grade C/grade 4 or above.
* A keen interest in engineering and technology.
* A passion for working with both hands‑on and theoretical knowledge.
* Good organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
* Enthusiastic, flexible, conscientious and proactive in approach.
* To work efficiently with supervision.
* Take a positive approach to own training and development.
* Good communication and teamworking skills.
* Strong team player.
