HLTA - What the Role Involves

• Leading whole-class learning across a range of subjects under teacher guidance and direction

• Supporting curriculum planning, pupil progress tracking, and assessment alongside qualified teachers
• Providing targeted small-group intervention to pupils requiring additional academic or pastoral support
• Contributing to a calm, purposeful school environment that upholds the school's high standards at every level

HLTA - What the School is Looking For The ideal HLTA will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university. Previous child-centred experience within a UK secondary school setting is highly valued. The school is seeking a confident, proactive, and committed HLTA with strong communication skills and the ability to lead learning independently and effectively. Please note, applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. HLTA - Salary and Contract Info

• Up to £600 per week, pro rata to term time only
• Full-time, long-term contract from September 2026 to July 2027
• Term-time only
• Potential for teacher training pathways or extended contracts following a successful placement
