Role Overview
We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee operations at our Belford facility, supporting the logistics for our domestic and international events. This role requires managing time-sensitive tasks in a demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Day-to-day management of the warehouse, maintaining a safe, efficient, and organised space.
· Oversee stock control, including accurate inventory tracking and optimisation to support fast-paced event deliveries.
· Plan and coordinate the maintenance, testing, cleaning, and preparation of kit and equipment to ensure everything is event-ready, using the asset control software.
· Manage the arrival, loading, and dispatch of trucks and shipping containers, adhering to tight schedules for international events.
· Lead and motivate the small warehouse team, managing workloads and fostering a positive, collaborative atmosphere.
· Plan and recruit casual staff during peak busy periods to handle increased demands.
· Handle the receiving of new stock, ensuring proper recording, tagging, and integration into our stock control systems.
· Oversee stock control and provide regular reports to senior management on stock accuracy and dispatch times.
· Identify opportunities within the warehouse for process and efficiency improvements.
Person Specification
We're looking for a proactive leader who is passionate about their work and excited by the energy of live events. Essential requirements include:
· A minimum of 3 years' experience running a busy warehouse, with a proven track record in delivering time-sensitive projects.
· Ability to meet the physical demands of the post and the ability to thrive in a hands-on, challenging environment.
· Demonstrated success in managing teams, motivating staff, and maintaining high standards under pressure.
· Strong proficiency in online communication tools such as email, cloud-based calendars, online chat platforms, and project management software (e.g., Teamwork, Microsoft Teams, Current).
· Willingness and ability to quickly learn new software systems as needed.
· Experience in the events sector is highly desirable but not essential—we value transferable skills from logistics or warehousing backgrounds.

What We Offer
· Salary of £36,000 - £40,000, based on experience.
· Hours: 37 hours per week. Monday – Thursday, Friday 09-00 – Flexibility around working hours will be required at peak busy periods, which will include some evening and weekend working.
· Holiday entitlement 25 days plus 8 public holidays rising to 30 days after 6 years of service
