Are you a Construction Design Supervisor or technically minded construction professional looking to develop your career within a main contractor, supporting the delivery of coordinated, buildable, and compliant design information across multiple projects?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor in a role offering long-term development, exposure to the full contractor-side design management process, and hands-on involvement from pre-construction through to project delivery.
This established main contractor delivers high-quality projects across the region and is continuing to expand its delivery team. They are known for strong internal support, structured processes, and investment in developing future Design Managers.
In this role, you will support the Design Manager by coordinating consultant and subcontractor design information, managing RFIs and technical submissions, and ensuring drawings are issued in line with programme and site requirements. You will liaise closely with construction, commercial, and pre-con teams, with occasional site visits to support the resolution of design-related issues.
This role would suit someone with a construction-related qualification and experience in design coordination or a technical role, looking to progress within a contractor environment.
The Role:
* Support the Design Manager in tracking and coordinating design deliverables
* Coordinate consultant and subcontractor drawings and technical submissions
* Manage RFIs, design queries, and document control systems
* Assist with design reviews, buildability checks, and value engineering
* Liaise with site teams and attend coordination meetings as required
The Person:
* Degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
* Experience in design coordination or a technical construction role
* Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
