About The Role
Within this vital role you will provide essential administrative support to our dedicated Occupational Health team.
You will help ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of our Occupational Health Service by managing appointments, maintaining confidential medical records, coordinating data and reports, and supporting budgetary processes. This is a key role helping to keep our colleagues safe, healthy, and supported.

About You:
We welcome applications from all backgrounds and experiences, but the ideal person will have:
* General Education to GCSE standard with an A-C grade in English & Maths or equivalent standard
* Experience of working in an administrative role in an office environment. Acting as first point of contact for queries into the department and understanding OHUs contribution to organisational effectiveness.
* Experience of researching, producing and presenting basic statistical information.
* Excellent IT skills with the ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word Database applications and PowerPoint to prepare well-presented documents
* Effective communication. Communicating all needs instructions and decision clearly. Adapts communication style to professionally liaise with people of all levels, from senior managers to members of the public and checks for understanding.
* Ability to prioritise demands and manage time effectively. Can plan, prioritise and meet deadlines. Able to adapt and respond to change / conflicting priorities.
* Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build effective working relationships.
* Knowledge of Basic Data Protection Principles. Ability to handle confidential medical information in accordance with data protection principles and the organisation's information management principles.
* Demonstrates commitment to the principles of equality and fairness.
* Self-motivated and enthusiastic towards Occupational Health with a can-do approach
