Capital Electrical UK & Ireland Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified and experienced electrician to subcontract with us for ongoing shopfitting projects.
£250 per day (10 hours on site) + accommodation (AirBnB or hotel), £0.30 per mile, £20 overnight expenses for each night staying away, weekly pay.
Following 2 trial weeks, rate increases to £300 per day (10 hours on site) + accommodation, £0.30 per mile, £20 overnight expenses for each night staying away, weekly pay.
References/ evidence of previous projects required.
Work throughout the U.K.
Own van, insurances, hand tools and power tools required.

* minimum NVQ Level 3 qualified (Electrical Installation)
* City and Guilds 18th Edition
* experience of commercial/contsinment/shopfitting (5+ years)
* experience of single-phase and three-phase systems
* ability to confidently read drawings and schematics
* hard working and able to use initiative
* Inspection and Testing 2391/2 or equivalent (preferred)
* a valid ECS card
* a full UK driving licence, own vehicle and insurance
* public liability insurance and employers liability (where necessary)
* willingness to work away on a regular basis (accommodation and food allowance provided)
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Requirements:
- fully qualified electrician
-public liability insurance
- Valid ECS card
-minimum of 5 years experience with commercial/containment/shopfitting
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and lifting
