Are you an experienced Driver who takes pride in doing things properly? Our HGV Class 1 Driver role at Dawsongroupcould be exactly what you've been looking for. As part of our professional transport and training team, you'll be at the heart of our day-to-day operations, ensuring vehicles are delivered, collected, and maintained to the highest standards.
Deliver and collect vehicles between customers, branches, and workshops
Present vehicles for MOT and support branch operations
Assist with equipment parking, checks, and security on site
Support driver training and induction activities for new and existing team members
Represent Dawsongroup professionally with customers and partners every day
About You
You'll be a confident, responsible driver who enjoys variety and takes pride in keeping things safe, tidy, and professional. You might already hold training experience or simply be ready to step up and share what you know.
Hold a current Class 1 HGV licence (minimum 2 years' experience)
Driver Qualification Card essential, ROSPA or IAM desirable (training provided)
Knowledge of transport legislation and vehicle safety checks
Flexible with early starts, occasional nights away, and varied work
Confident communicator with basic tablet or iPad knowledge
