You’ll build constructive, positive relationships with offenders who could be at the lowest point in their lives. Teamwork is vital; you’ll support colleagues and act as one team to keep the prison, offenders and staff safe. You will be required to work various shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities
* Protect the public and contribute to public safety.
* Carry out a range of roles in a single day (peacekeeper, counsellor, teacher) interacting directly with prisoners in a secure environment.
* Build constructive, positive and professional relationships with offenders.
* Work as part of a team to support colleagues and ensure safety.
* Work various shifts and weekends.
