Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team on a subcontract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar systems, storage heaters, fans and consumer units and equipment in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, the ability to work with both power and hand tools, and a commitment to safety standards. The ability to carry out electrical testing is required, help can be issued with any gaps in your knowledge. Salary is negotiable with regards to qualifications and experience. Company van provided. Work can be anywhere inside the UK.
Duties
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
* Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with relevant codes and safety regulations.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
* Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or issues.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their electrical needs.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
* Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade.
* Ability to read technical documents and manuals.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* A valid driver's licence may be required for travel between job sites.
* Level 3 Qualification
* Level 3 NVQ
* AM2 or equivalent
* 18th Edition
* C&G 2391 or equivalent
* EAL or BPEC in solar installations (Prefered)
* Gold card (Prefered)
