Ergonomic Assessor & Installation Engineer - London
Salary: Up to £32,000 annually
Working Pattern: Permanent, Full‑time role
Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 with some overtime required
A full, valid UK driving licence is required and willingness to travel within the Greater London area is necessary.

What You'll Do
As an Ergonomic Assessor & Installation Engineer, your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
* Evaluating workspaces, identifying ergonomic risks, and recommending tailored solutions to enhance comfort, well‑being, and productivity.
* Conducting thorough assessments and providing expert advice and support clients in creating healthier work environments.
* Setting up and adjusting workplace furniture or equipment, with a focus on delivering ergonomic expertise and personalised guidance.
Essential Qualities and Qualifications
* Ergonomic Expertise – Ability to conduct detailed assessments and recommend practical, tailored solutions.
* Customer‑Centric Approach – Strong listening skills and empathetic communication.
* Technical Proficiency – Experience setting up and adjusting workplace furniture or equipment.
* Problem‑Solving Ability – Capable of identifying workspace issues and developing innovative solutions.
* Attention to Detail – High precision in assessing needs and installing furniture.
* Physical Requirements – Ability to lift, move, and adjust furniture safely.
* Strong Communication Skills – Excellent verbal and written communication.
* Professionalism and Approachability – Friendly, approachable demeanour.
* Time Management – Efficient management of multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Team Collaboration – Willingness to work with colleagues.
* Valid driver’s licence – No more than 3 points.
* Flexibility – Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends.
* Background Check – Successful DBS check required.
Key Responsibilities
* Ergonomic Assessments – Conduct thorough assessments, identify risks, recommend solutions such as chairs, desks; provide guidance and demonstrate products.
* Client Interaction – Listen to concerns, understand needs, offer expert advice, maintain professional demeanour.
* Furniture Installation – Assemble and install bespoke workstations (chairs, desks, laptop stands etc.), familiarise client with equipment.
* Workspace Optimisation – Evaluate layout and functionality, arrange furniture for maximum ergonomics, aesthetics, productivity.
* Tools and Equipment – Select and maintain tools and equipment necessary for installation and assessments.
* Documentation – Keep accurate records of assessments, installations, inventory, generate before‑and‑after reports.
* Customer Service – Provide exceptional service throughout the process.
* Team Collaboration – Work closely with installation engineers, project managers, designers.
