Salary
* £42,652 – £45,271 per annum (Salaries include market factor where applicable)
* £47,362 – £50,339 per annum for Experienced Social Workers
* ASYE – £37,280 – £39,152 per annum

Responsibilities
* Establish and work within multi‑disciplinary teams, embedding specialist adult practitioners (domestic abuse, mental health, substance misuse) alongside social workers for a unified family response.
* Apply Motivational Interviewing (MI) as a framework for practice, delivering ongoing skills‑development workshops and a structured solution‑focused intervention programme to increase family engagement.
* Use an electronic assessment workbook to streamline information sharing, reducing administrative time for social workers.
* Respect the ‘family first’ ethos, ensuring birth parents and extended networks participate in decision‑making and providing nurturing, alternative care when necessary.
* Maintain relationships with children and families, fostering a sense of belonging and sustaining ongoing support through each stage of care.
Qualifications & Experience
* Qualified Social Worker with experience in Family Safeguarding preferred.
* Minimum experience in child protection or a related social work field.
* Considerable experience in multi‑disciplinary collaboration and motivational interviewing is an advantage.
