We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales performance. Key Responsibilities
* Sales and Profitability
o Drive sales to meet or exceed store sales targets.
o Develop and implement strategies to increase customer traffic, maximise sales, and improve profitability.
o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyse sales performance.
o Identify opportunities for growth, address underperformance, and adjust sales tactics as needed.
* Customer Service
o Ensure that customers receive excellent service by providing a welcoming environment and maintaining high service standards.
o Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a professional and effective manner.
o Implement initiatives to improve customer loyalty and retention.
* Team Leadership and Development
o Train store staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team culture.
o Schedule staff to ensure appropriate coverage and optimise productivity.
o Conduct regular performance reviews, set individual and team goals, and provide constructive feedback.
o Identify skill gaps and implement training programs to support team growth.
* Inventory and Stock Management
o Manage inventory levels to ensure stock availability while minimising wastage and shrinkage.
o Oversee ordering, receiving, and stock rotation to maintain an organised and up-to-date inventory.
o Conduct regular stock audits and liaise with category managers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
* Operational Excellence
o Ensure that store operations comply with company policies and procedures, including health and safety standards.
o Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing store layout.
o Monitor and manage expenses within budgetary constraints, identifying cost‑saving opportunities where possible.
* Marketing and Promotions
o Implement in‑store promotions and marketing initiatives in coordination with the marketing team.
o Engage with the local community to increase brand awareness and foster customer loyalty.
Required Skills And Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail management role.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Solid understanding of retail management practices, including sales and inventory management.
* Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
