You’ll be joining a leading environmental services provider, supporting a high-profile infrastructure project in the Hull area. Known for delivering excellence in ecological consultancy, they are urgently seeking a skilled Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) to join their team on a freelance basis.
Your new role
As the Ecological Clerk of Works, you will be responsible for ensuring ecologicalpliance on-site. Your duties will include conducting habitat assessments, advising site teams on ecological constraints and mitigation measures, and monitoring works to ensure adherence to UK wildlife legislation and best practice. This is an immediate start role, with workmencing as early as Friday.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Minimum 2–3 seasons of ecological fieldwork and ECoW experience
2. Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and habitat assessment methodologies
3. CSCS card (essential)
4. First Aid certification (preferred – training can be provided)
5. Availability to start immediately
